This painting has charmed me for a few years now and it reminds me of my wife’s favorite day in Paris as we roamed the galleries of the Petet Palais in Paris. There is something so attractive about about Sarah Bernhardt, I am drawn in by the vibrant excess and ease with which she embraced this pose. the color draws out her white dress and the white dress contrast with her face eyes and hair. The hound is as luxurious as the rest of the setting.

She was the actress of here era, still captivating after generations.
